Barbara Boxer’s Ego On Display:

If “Sir” is good enough for the President, I think Ma’am is plenty fine for Barbara Boxer.

Ron Paul on the Swine Flu

How is it that Ron Paul can say the same thing over and over and be right every single time? The government is the problem, stupid, not the answer.

Arlen Specter and Forced Retirement

Arlen Specter claims the Republican Party left him, but admits he switched parties out of self preservation. How arrogant.

The guy has been in the Senate longer than I have been alive, yet single handedly stabs every single conservative tax hating American in the back by giving the Obama Administration full fledged authortity to do whatever they want. IF I was a Republican and considering leaving the party at age 79 to make a statement (or because I couldn’t even win my own party’s primary), I would just drop the party all together, and retire. Instead, he switches in self interest, gives the Democrats a fillibuster proof majority, and becomes the all important vote on every  vital issue.

Not sure how the PA primaries work, but I encourage everyone to vote for whoever is running against him.

Here is the “Official” AP article, complete with reference to Twitter. Every article has to have a reference to Twitter. Arlen Spector Stabs Conservatives In the Back

Barack Obama: A Real Friend of Socialism

Word is that the Obama administration is considering lifting the travel ban to Cuba. While I can’t help but support this one decision in a bubble, the fact is this guy is a little too comfortable with socialist dictators.

While many Americans (myself included) would love to visit Cuba, I support lifting the travel ban for the following reasons:

Fidel Castro is about to die. Allowing Americans to travel to Cuba would prop up the economy, and show them exactly what capitalism is all about.

Of course, it would have to be under the condition that if the Cuban government detained any US citizen for political reasons, we would get them back by any means necessary. You kill socialism with capitalism and aggression, not this:

Click the image and read the intro to the article, it will make you all the more disgusted. That is, if you are a capitalist and able to actually judge our untouchable president with a critical eye.

Charles Schumer

Charles Schumer speaking down on the only people calling him and those like him out, talk radio. The “chattering class?” How do these people get away with it? Isn’t it nice to know that fine representatitives like Charles Schumer know exactly you, as an American, feel about little tiny trillion dollar pork filled bills?

They get away with it because the media is a joke and the elections are, too. Combine the above clip with these quotes by Charles Schumer to Fox News (sham) regarding the Fairness Doctrine, and it get’s really scary. Even scarier is his non-sensical point about pornography which I didn’t quite understand. One way or another, the people of New York need to dispose of this guy.

Change Under Obama? Yeah, Right

A lot of people I know (even myself) were willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt to clean things up after 8 years of Bush. But, after the last week his chance is up.

Did anyone watch the speech tonight? Fear mongoring at it’s best, and Obama cracking jokes trying to force through a godawful piece of legislation. Did this guy steal his entire persona from The Rock? I think this speech is a scary sign of what’s to come.

Our problem is too much debt. How is spending more going to help us  pay off debt? He tried to say that anyone opposing the bill was doing so for political reasons. Give me a fucking break! Anyone that supports printing another trillion and letting this government spend it is probably either already on the government dole, or just plain stupid.

Let’s also not forget the all the other “Republican talking points” of the past two weeks, which I would usually avoid, but Tom Daschule? Tim Geithner? Bill Richardson? Hillary Clinton? Eric Holder? A hundred other bureaucrats and cronies that have been in Washington forever? This is change? You either think the government is corrupt, or it isn’t. If you think the government is corrupt and incompetent, but you still support Barack, you are the definition of “liberalism is a mental disorder.”  Please stop voting.

Not trying to insult anyone that voted for BO, but open your fucking eyes. We are going downhill fast, and Obama is proposing the same exact thing as GWB already did (and would if he was still in Office). Ironically, they also believe the same thing as it relates to a wide open border will plenty of illegal immigrants for big business to rape. See any similarities here?

And now, I bring you trusted Economic Advisor, Robert Reich:

Economic redistribution at it’s finest, at times like these? What a horrible un-PC statement but it got NO PLAY in the media. Who wants to defend these people?

The Associated Press is a Joke

Man, the Associated Press just kills me.

4 days into the Obama administration and 5 executive orders later, and this reporter is claiming that the administration has broken from Bush, by “avoid(ing) divisive stands.”

Really? Like the abortion reversal? Like shutting down Guantanamo? Like Stem Cell Research. Like printing another trillion indiscriminantly.

I am not questioning the judgement of any of these decisions, but there is no way stepping on with 5 executive orders in the first few days is not divisive. Only an AP writer could say something so asinine.

2 DAYS INTO OBAMA

Patiently optimistic, but fuck ignorance. You don’t work, you don’t eat. Bottom Line. Here’s a comment from a “trusted” Obama advisor. Are white males less hungry? I don’t think so…

Democracy Inaction in Minnesota

Re: Challenged Ballots in Minnesota Senate Recount.

Even though some people are apparently too dumb to vote, it is depressing to see that both Al Franken and Norm Coleman are unconcerned with the will of voters. Disgusting to think there are 99 others that would do the same exact thing to stay in power.

Pretty clear vote for Coleman, although this voter did trust Franken for a role with the Water District. This ballot was challenged by the Franken campaign.

This voter is apparently sold on the Democratic Party, but not Al Franken. Ballot disputed by the Coleman campaign.

I think it’s pretty clear what’s going on here.

Liberal Talk Radio

The “liberal radio is a failure” argument you always hear made by certain talking heads is incorrect. While Air America has been a massive failure, a station like NPR is should also be considered “liberal” and successful (or at least interesting).

Air America’s failure was a result of being absent of any real substance and too focused on ripping Bush/Republicans. Good conservative radio shows (People like Jerry Doyle, Lou Dobbs, Michael Savage & Glenn Beck) are more focused on debating the failures of our government, not just constantly harping on one side.

In my opinion, most liberals would rather listen to the worldly stories of genocide, global warming, and other “travesties” of NPR then confront the real problems with our government. If they are interested in debating the flaws of our government, there is essentially no liberal counterpart to the shows mentioned above and they are forced to look elsewhere.
